Recompress Zip tool
Thought I might point out that this tool does not have to be used on DIM files only. It also does a great job on non-DIM zips straight from Renderosity or wherever. Basically anything with DS files that use zip compression I guess. It doesn't seem to do anything with Poser format .cr2 etc. files but I don't know if any poser files even use zip compression. Never used Poser enough to be familiar with the formats. It does do a better job of compression on some PS zips though.

Re: Recompress Zip tool
That's right, the zip doesn't need to be an actual DIM to work what "Recompress Zip" is doing is unzipping the file decompressing
the .dsf and .duf files (if they are compressed) then re-compresses them and finally rezips the content.
As for Poser files if I remember right they don't use compression.

Re: Recompress Zip tool
Makes it a pretty good tool even if you aren't interested in making DIMS from your non-Daz content. Although I find it hard to understand why anybody would NOT want to be able to easily install and uninstall things. Yeah I get that not some people like searching through the content library to find stuff instead of using Smart Content. And even I think Content Library works better with some things like shaders (before /AnySurface). But, without using DIM, uninstalling anything is a big pain in the butt

Re: Recompress Zip tool
Yeah, when I first started with Daz I was doing the drag and drop of non Daz content then I started running out of HD space
and uninstalling content to make room for something else was a pain. Then I started putting the content in it's own folder and
using Daz to make the smart content metadata (which using Daz to make the metadata is over kill ) but then I had make
the installer manifest outside of Daz. So I decided to make a program to make the hole DIM making process easier.
